Modifying Forms applying cuts and chamfer to keep them as form not converting them to a solid.
In the Modify Forms there a tool labeled chamfer and others but not actually chamfering the form, converting to a solid and then losing all the data the form has.
On the note adding a slab thickening the slab would also be good.
