It would be good if a user could initially place spaces using the flood placement option as this is a quick and efficient way to add spaces and room data to a model in the early stages of design. Later in the process, he may need to be more exact with his areas (center line of some walls vs. face of other walls) and wish to manually modify the area shape. Currently, there is not a way to drop the spaces associative status so that it can be modified manually. The space must be deleted, losing all data. and recreated.

Users would benefit by being able to modify space shapes while maintaining the data on the space.
