The Platform properties dialog is not written to in such a way to present IFC properties on IFC objects in a clear and easily accessible manner.

For similar reasons but a wholly different approach the Item tree in the Project explorer presents a complicated detailed view of the IFC schema. One or the other needs to be re written to present a hierarchical view of the IFC schema that aligns to user expectations. Both these current viewers are controlled by PP and are not fit for purpose we should develop our own viewer
