Seems like PVs are getting very popular. Energy Simulator does allow this to be incorporated somewhat. It would be great to have a design tool to allow the user to place the panel in 3d.
Mstn is getting quite good at referencing context info like geographic positioning, urban structures, even foilage via reality meshes, meshes etc.
PV panels will have weight and access requirements. Cabling etc. OBD's modeling tools would allow a one-stop shop for estimating payback, developing proposals.

Hi Dominic, you might use the curtain wall tool or parametric cells to model PV elements. We need to investigate further how to connect all the dots, modeling panels and analytical tools necessary to give the complete overview, as your idea suggests.
