When elements overlap multiple spaces (in some instances all they need to do is touch another space) the element is assigned to the first space placed. This is not always correct and results in incorrect scheduling.
It is critical that elements can be assigned to the correct space, ideally by looking at the largest volume of the element compared to the spaces it overlaps, or at the worst manually.
