My understanding is that when assigning a parametric cell to a datagroup definiton, if that parametric cell contains a set of variations only one variation can be used or applied. Thus if I need to use all three variations I must create 3 datagroup entries into my dataset.
A utility is requested to expose the variations both at the time of object placement and afterwards so the user has control at all times.
This would require changes at Power Platform level but other applications would benefit too.
This would lead to smaller datasets with more choice and control for users during production.
Hello Brenden, thank you for the great idea. We have this filled as an enhancement for OBD. This might come out with Update 9 or later.
