It could be useful to add a "Center" options for the label offset in (structural) rules. Now there is only "Above" and "Below", which makes sense in combination with single line resymbolization. However for eg. concrete beams that are wide enough I like to put my labels dead center. That would translate into 50% along the length (which is already possible) and centered on the axis line of the member, which is what this request is fo.

Hello Johan, thank you for your interesting idea. There is no convenient label offset center option right now. We put this on the list of items to be considered in the future and will measure further user feedback.
