Wall Cleanup + Cells

TF_UNIFY_CELL_CHILDREN is a great setting. Apparently can slow things down so something to combine with CVEs?

Currently works for these conditions:

Wall to Wall. OK

Wall to Cell Wall. OK

Cell Wall to Cell Wall. OK

Cell Wall to Wall-in-Ref. OK

Wall to Wall-in-Ref. OK

Wall-in-Ref to Wall-in-Ref. OK

It would be good to cater the following conditions:

Wall to Cell Wall-in-Ref. Not unified

Cell Wall to Cell Wall-in-Ref. Not unified.

Wall-in-Ref to Cell Wall-in-Ref. Not unified.

Cell Wall-in-Ref to Cell Wall-in-Ref. Not unified.

How frequently will feature be used? A few times a day
How much time will you save? Lots especially when the client will not accept sloppy OOTB connections resulting in extensive manual corrections. Happens more than you think: for planning applications, client presentations, publiction drawings etc.

Hi Dominic, Thank you for your response. We understand that you are asking for more unification functionality also for elements located in referenced files.

As this would require a lot of effort to resolve, this idea requires significantly more votes to make it on our priority enhancement list.

    Hi Johannes,

Many thanks for looking at this. A bit more info posted here https://communities.bentley.com/products/building/building_analysis___design/f/aecosim-speedikon-forum/207729/bv-wall-cleanup-cells

As mentioned in the forum post - Managing references is key to productivity. Mstn has been great with its powerful Ref attachment functionality, but it needs to go a bit further when generating and displaying elements that need to merge or join properly. This seems to be address for Walls in the same model but not for Walls in the Ref attachements.
